2009-NOV Dishin'Art raised funds for beautification efforts around Onalaska, Wisconsin.  At the event where local artists paired with local celebrities including Onalaska's Mayor Mike Giese, WIZM radio host Mike Hayes, WKBT anchor Martha Koloski, and a host of others to create works of art for the fund raiser.  Carol worked with current Mayor, Mike Geise who likes pelicans, to envision his own version of the city logo.

 
2009-MAY Teacher Talk, published by the University of Wisconsin.  In addition to creating beautiful works of art in glass, Carol teaches Environmental Education, combining her artistic skills with the work she performs as an EPA consultant to teach students the value of recycling glass.
